Tyler Davis is a professional drummer, educator, and the founder of The Band Factory. With more than 25 years of experience behind the drum set, Tyler has dedicated his career to helping young musicians develop not only technical skill, but confidence, creativity, and a lifelong passion for music.

As both a performer and educator, Tyler believes that the most meaningful musical growth happens through collaboration. This philosophy led him to create The Band Factory, where students progress beyond private lessons by rehearsing, performing, and growing together in real bands. His mission is to provide aspiring musicians with the same experiences that shaped his own career, from learning to listen and communicate with other musicians to developing the confidence to perform on stage.

Outside of teaching, Tyler has spent more than a decade performing with his funk fusion band SixFoxWhiskey, releasing three studio albums and sharing the stage with nationally recognized artists including Fuel, Nate Smith, and Ripe. His experience as a touring and recording musician allows him to bring real-world insight into every lesson, helping students prepare not only to become better musicians, but to become thoughtful, dependable bandmates.

Whether working with a beginner picking up an instrument for the first time or an advanced student preparing for live performance, Tyler is passionate about creating an encouraging environment where musicians can grow, connect, and discover the joy of making music together.
